The music ministry at New Life Fellowship is lead by Stephen and Jennifer Jasper. The Jaspers have been in the worship ministry since 2005 with Stephen as guitarist and Jennifer on piano. They accepted the position of worship leader in 2008. In 2021, Mike Wedgewood joined as a drummer.

The team meets every Wednesday night in the sanctuary  for a time of “input”- short Bible study, and “output”- our response to God’s word.

Worship is not music on a Sunday morning or other set aside time. Worship is a constant response to God, whether it be prayer, singing, Bible study, or actions. The book of Psalms is filled with scripture related to music. We are called to shout, sing for joy, declare His glory, and bring Him a new song (Psalm 96). Ascribing to those ideals, New Life Fellowship worship consists of music that is meant to help us express who God is and what He’s done in our lives, as well as help us praise His name. On any given Sunday, you might hear a hymn written in the 1800s followed by a song written just a few years ago. Just as we don’t box our God in with what we think He is capable, our music is not limited to one style or genre. Remember, at one point, even Amazing Grace How Sweet the Sound was a new contemporary song to congregations.
